Instagram Content Studio

Everything for Elite's Instagram and Facebook in one place: reels, pinned carousels, highlights, captions and keyword DMs, built from the service pages and blog on eliteconcretecoatingsco.com. Garage floors lead, since they are the newest service and the one that photographs best. Open a reel, copy the text, build it in Edits and tick it off when it posts.

Every post answers a question a Colorado Springs homeowner is already asking about their garage, driveway or patio, and ends on one comment keyword. The DM sends the answer and offers a free estimate.

ReelsReach homeowners who have never heard of Elite. Instagram pushes reels that get watched to the end.
CarouselsFor people who already found the account. Pinned to the top so new visitors see them first.
KeywordEvery caption ends on one word to comment.
DM + estimateThe automation chat sends the link and asks for a town and phone number for a free estimate.

The first week

  1. Set the profile picture, bio and Facebook cover.
  2. Post the three pinned carousels (who we are, which coating you need, garage floors) and pin them to the top of the profile.
  3. Post the six highlight stories and save each one to its highlight with its cover.
  4. Set up the keyword DMs in the automation chat before the first reel goes out.
  5. Build reel E1 in Edits as a template, then add versions B and C.
  6. Post one reel version a day, mixed across topics, and tick each one off.
  7. Comment a keyword from a second account to check the DM comes through.

Real jobs beat stock. The b-roll here is free stock footage so every reel works today. Every garage floor, driveway and patio Elite finishes is better footage: film the grind, the flake going down and the finished floor, and swap it in. See the shot list.

Timing. Exterior sealing and resurfacing stop in November, so post the sealing reels (E6, E7, E10) first. Garage floors run all winter when the garage can be heated, so E1 to E5 carry the account through to spring.

What is on the profile, so every post points the same way.

Profile picture: the E mark from the logo on navy. The full logo is too wide to read in a circle. Use the same image on Facebook so both match.

Facebook cover: Colorado is hard on concrete. We coat, restore and protect it.

Keywords and the automation chat

One keyword per post. When someone comments it or DMs it, Blotato sends the DM below with the link and a free estimate button.

Check the links before the first DM goes out. On Oct 14 the blog posts on eliteconcretecoatingsco.com were returning a WordPress error, and the site is being rebuilt. Keep these same addresses on the new site, or update the links here and in the automation chat.

How the automations are set up (Blotato)

  1. One automation per keyword on Instagram and on the Facebook page, named "Elite IG: WORD" and "Elite FB: WORD".
  2. Two triggers each: someone comments the word on any post or reel, or sends it as a DM.
  3. The DM: the text below plus two buttons, the guide or page, and Free estimate to the contact page. ESTIMATE has one button, Request an estimate.
  4. Live now: FLOOR and ESTIMATE. The other six are saved as drafts because their blog posts are down; turn them on in Blotato once the site is back.
  5. Anyone who replies with a number or a town: the owner calls them back the same day. Fast replies win estimates.
03

Reels

Ten reels, each with three versions: same build, different hook. Two batches of the same reels: batch 2 puts the text over b-roll for a real feel, batch 1 is text on screen. Build each one once in Edits and save it as a template.

How every reel works

1Three versionsSame build, three hooks. Instagram finds the one that lands.
2Mix them inSpread the versions out. Never three of the same in a row.
3Read the numbersViews, saves and comments show which hook wins.
4Make more like itUse the winning angle on the next reels.

04

Templates

Each reel built once in Edits with real footage and saved as a template, so every new version takes a minute. The real-footage example and the template link go here once they exist.

How to save a reel as a template

  1. Build version A in Edits with real footage: the clip, the three text layers and trending audio.
  2. Post it, then tap the three dots on the reel and Copy link. Anyone can open that reel and tap Use template.
  3. Save the finished video named by reel (E1, E2...) so it can go on the card below.
  4. Send the reel link, and it goes on the card below with the real-footage example.

Raw b-roll for each reel

The vertical clip behind each batch 2 reel, ready to drop into Edits. Download it here, or open the original on Mixkit for the full-size file. Mixkit clips are free for commercial use with no credit needed. Swap in real job footage as soon as there is some.

Three carousels pinned to the top of the profile tell a new visitor who Elite is, which coating their concrete needs and what goes into a garage floor. Below them, carousels that answer the questions homeowners ask most. Slides are ready to download, or rebuild them in the Edits carousel editor from the slide text.

Shot list for real jobs

The photos on the website gallery are stock images, so they cannot be posted as Elite's work. Real job footage is the best content this account can have. Shoot these on every job, vertical, on a phone.

Garage floors

  • Before: the whole floor from the open garage door, then close on cracks, pits and the white salt haze
  • The grinder running, low and close, 5 to 10 seconds
  • Crack repair going in and getting ground flush
  • Flake going down by hand (the best clip of the day)
  • The finished floor from the same spot as the before shot
  • Water poured on the finished floor and wiped off
  • The car pulling in on day two

Driveways, patios and sealing

  • Before: a slow walk down the slab, then close on the damage
  • Cracks being cut and filled
  • Sealer or color going on with the roller, wet edge in the light
  • After: the same walk, same angle as the before
  • Water beading on the sealed surface

Every job

  • Same spot, same angle for the before and after, so they line up in a split screen
  • Keep the house number, plates and the homeowner out of frame unless they say yes
  • Write down the town and the service, for the caption ("Garage floor in Monument")
  • Ask happy customers for a Google review the same day

Before and afters go on the grid, the process clips replace the stock b-roll in the reels, and the best one goes in the matching highlight.

Writing new content

The rules every reel and caption on this page follows, so new posts match.

Reel text, three layers

  1. Hook: a number, a rule or a moment, 7 words or fewer.
  2. Second line: the consequence or the fix, 6 words or fewer.
  3. Call to action: Save This, Check Caption, Send To A Neighbor, or Comment KEYWORD.

Every fact comes from the website or a published blog post. Link it in your notes before you post.

Caption shape

  1. The hook extended, with one emoji and a search phrase.
  2. A setup line ending in πŸ‘‡.
  3. Three to five numbered points, one or two short lines each.
  4. A save or send line.
  5. The keyword line: "Comment WORD and we will send..."
  6. Five hashtags at most, always #eliteconcretecoatings and #coloradosprings or the town.

The voice

A Colorado contractor talking straight. "We," never "I." Say what the concrete needs, including when the answer is nothing yet. Name the local villains: mag chloride, freeze-thaw, altitude sun, hardware store kits. Never boost a post.

Never: prices, ranges or "starting at" (every estimate is on site); claims about VOCs, eco or low-odor products; em dashes; "actually"; "not X, it's Y" reversals; filler words.

Mix up the markers

Every caption gets its own number and arrow style, never the same set twice in a row.

Checklists

Before a reel posts

  • Hook on screen from the first frame
  • Under 9 seconds, trending audio added in Edits
  • Caption pasted, keyword matches the reel
  • No prices anywhere: text, caption or comments
  • Keyword DM live in the automation chat

Every week

  • Five reel versions out, mixed across topics
  • One real job posted: before and after, town in the caption
  • Stories added to the matching highlights
  • Keyword comments answered, estimate requests called back the same day
  • Note which hooks won, write the next ones from them
